Since Nana Mouskouri last CD (Nuestras Canciones (CD 1)) on SixSteps records back in 1991, I have felt a massive void in my life. Nuestras Canciones (CD 1) is an amazing album, racked with beauty.IF YOU LIKE ALL Nana Mouskouri’S SONG GO FOR IT! Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Nuestras Canciones (CD 1).
Listening to Caminito you can hear that Nana Mouskouri has still amazing chemistry with band members. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. In Dos Cruces full palet of sound is used by Nana Mouskouri to accentuate the presentation. I was truly moved when I heard La Llorona. Once Ave Maria No Morro gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. MalagueG±a sets the tone for the entire album. Quiereme Mucho - a classic song. Cuando Sali Pa Colombia motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Nuestras Canciones (CD 1). Historia De Un Amor to me is the best you can get from Nana Mouskouri. La Paloma is the funkiest number on the album.
