There is no doubt that Shadow Gallery has talent. I am not a real Metal: Progressive music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Tyranny’ really is amazing. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Shadow Gallery. Tyranny touched my soul like nothing else.
War For Sale is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Shadow Gallery allows each song to breathe and flourish. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Shadow Gallery. Opening track Hope For Us shows the best of Shadow Gallery. Victims is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Tyranny. I Believe is one of the best records ever. I listened to the opening track Roads Of Thunder and liked it a lot. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Tyranny is Spoken Words. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. The first time I listened to Chased I was struck by its amazing sound. Ghost Of A Chance one is one of the better boring ones. All of songs on Tyranny and have something to say letting alone Christmas Day.
