Lead single “Seemingly Endless Time” and “Stop” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Act Iii carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This eleven-song debut EP shows the promise that Death Angel has. Act Iii touched my soul like nothing else.
Stop is a striking and quite long song. Fugue is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Death Angel ever produced. Prelude To April - To me, this is the best song on the Act Iii. Discontinued is a fine track on any terms. A Room With A View is Death Angel’s best work in years. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Music of Ex-Tc is gentle, never overbearing. Death Angel offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Falling A Sleep is just simply stunning.
