The Closing Chronicles: The Breathing Shadow Part II isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This album has some very good songs like Deep Inside Of Nowhere and Revival. When you buy a Nightingale album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Smart music for smart people.
Revival gives taste of what makes Nightingale special as a musician. I listened to the opening track Thoughts From A Stolen Soul and liked it a lot. In So Long (Still I Wonder) the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. You have to get essence of the Intermezzo’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Overall a nice softer song.
