Since completing 1992’s ‘It Doesn’t Matter’, Firefall fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. There is so much to love about Firefall, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Firefall’s album Firefall falls to No. 2 with 643,000, a sales slide of 79%. To me Firefall is the best band ever.
Love Isn’t All - My least favorite song on this album. Firefall rocks harder than ever with Livin’ Ain’t Lovin’. No Way Out is one of these floating songs. Dolphin’s Lullaby is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. This song is dynamic and dramatic. A unique and uplifting song. You Are The Woman have really caught my ear and imagination. Mexico on Firefall is solid and easy to listen to. Do What You Want can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Firefall is all about.
