‘Lumiere Obscure’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. There is no doubt that Lemongrass has talent. Lemongrass’s debut, ‘Lumiere Obscure’, does not fit easily into one genre. Another great offering from Lemongrass.
Comme Tojours is one of the best records ever. Take A While is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Lumiere Obscure have ended. Underwater has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Lemongrass’s strong vocals come to the fore. Get Lumiere Obscure and turn on The Bell if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Music of Flying Objects is gentle, never overbearing. Don’t judge Fine Time on the first listening. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Album opener What A Night is a bright, upbeat ditty. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Once Along The Way is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood.
