Jaco Pastorius’s debut, ‘Stuttgart Aria’, does not fit easily into one genre. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Jaco Pastorius on ‘American Boy’. Donna Lee - I like this one. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Jaco Reggae is such a cool and optimistic song that things can get just better. Charming song, great melody. Teresa as a highlight of Stuttgart Aria contains a ton of marvelous melodies. Stuttgart Aria II is probably one of Jaco Pastorius’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. The Days Of Wine and Roses is Jaco Pastorius’s best work in years.
