There were many famous songs of Wyclef Jean available. Ivan Grach has compared writing for Wyclef Jean’s new album to that on ‘Presents the Carnival Featuring the Refugee Allstars’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Since Wyclef Jean last CD (Presents the Carnival Featuring the Refugee Allstars) on Virgin Records back in 1997, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is one of Wyclef Jean best albums
Put Apocalypse into car stereo for your highway driving Guantanamera is a bit different from Wyclef Jean stereotypical stuff. Pablo Diablo (Interlude) is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. I can’t stop humming along Bubblegoose. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. To All The Girls is Wyclef Jean’s best work in years. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Anything Can Happen is worth the money. Wyclef Jean offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Words Of Wisdom (Interlude) one of the best in my collection. Year Of The Dragon is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Sang Fezi had me crying as I was able to relate so well. The song feels complete. Mona Lisa is a bit of a show-tune. You have to get essence of the Street Jeopardy’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Killer Mc (Interlude) is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Listening to We Trying To Stay Alive you can hear that Wyclef Jean has still amazing chemistry with band members. Gunpowder - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Enter The Carnival (Interlude) is absolutely incredible. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Yele is one of the best records ever. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer.
