Anita Sings the Most isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. For older fans Anita Sings the Most will put a massive smile accross your face. ‘Anita Sings the Most’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. One of Anita O’Day’s best albums yet.
Tenderly is cool song though, very addictive. After about the third Old Devil Moon listen through, I began to believe this song is Anita O’Day’s essence. Love Me Or Leave Me (2:35) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. We’ll Be Together Soon is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Stella By Starlight gets you up and jumping. Taking A Chance On Love one is one of the better boring ones. I now have Them There Eyes as one of my personal favorites. Voice of Anita O’Day in I’ve Got The World On A String is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Bewitched, Bothered & Bewildered is a very catchy tune.
