The Hollowing carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. After seeing Mechanical Man, I had to have a good Crisis cd. This disc has all of the essential Crisis classics. One of Crisis’s best albums yet.
In The Shadow Of The Sun is the albums biggest surprise. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on The Hollowing. Vision And The Verity marked the continuation of Crisis in style evolution. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. After The Flood - Okay, I just talked about depth. From the moment you listen to Sleeping The Wicked you’re hooked. If you are a Crisis fan, you will love Surviving The Siren. Strong, powerful vocals of Crisis in Take The Low Road are very impressive. Discipline Of Degradation is nothing but pure genius. I now have Come To Light as one of my personal favorites.
