Vivencias Imaginadas carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Vicente Amigo was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Vicente Amigo and Vivencias Imaginadas together. sixteen years ago, Vicente Amigo briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “El Mandaito”. This album is in perfect progression from Vicente Amigo!
I now have El Mandaito as one of my personal favorites. Ventenas Al Alma is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Some of the arrangements found on Vivencias Imaginadas are surprisingly edgy. Don’t judge Querido Metheny on the first listening. De Blanco Y Oro is worth the money. What sets Vivencias Imaginadas apart is Vicente Amigo’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Music of Sierra Del Agua is gentle, never overbearing.
