Lead single “Coallejon de la luna” and “De Mi Corazon Al Aire” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. There is so much to love about Vicente Amigo, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Since Vicente Amigo last CD (De Mi Corazon Al Aire) on Virgin Records back in 1991, I have felt a massive void in my life. If you want to hear real Latin: Flamenco, get this record now!
In De Mi Corazon Al Aire Vicente Amigo is at his best. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Maestro Sanlucar (3:51) - awsome. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Morao. A unique and uplifting song. Reino De Silla is another strong production from Vicente Amigo. Tio Arango is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Vicente Amigo ever produced.
