Shot In The Dark isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. When you buy a Laurent Garnier album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Laurent Garnier had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Shot In The Dark is the best essence of Laurent Garnier.
Such hits like Astral Dreams (Speakers Mix) will leave you hooked. I’ve found myself listening to Bouncing Metal back to back and back many times. Rising Spirit - My least favorite song on this album. Harmonic Groove - A nice song. The Force is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Geometric World is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. First time I heard 022 was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.I love the melodic melody of Rex Attitude and to this day it makes me feel good. One listen to the sheer beauty of Raw Cut was all I needed. This track is clearly meant to showcase Laurent Garnier’s vocal abilities.
