Moving Target carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This eleven-song debut EP shows the promise that Royal Hunt has. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Royal Hunt on ‘Last Goodbye’. Smart music for smart people.
1348 is the funkiest number on the album. Makin’ A Mess makes a person feel cool. Far Away gives taste of what makes Royal Hunt special as a musician. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Autograph is probably one of Royal Hunt’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Royal Hunt allows each song to breathe and flourish. Although Give It Up is very melodic it is far from sad. Time is pretty funky and mellow. Far Away is a great opener for Moving Target.
