It’s natural for George Duke to take a stab at ‘Overture’ considering her long-professed love for Orkrist. When you buy a George Duke album, you know exactly what you’re getting! George Duke was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from George Duke and Guardian Of The Light together. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about George Duke ever.
This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. What sets Shane apart is George Duke’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Born To Love You - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Silly Fightin’ which is my favorite is a truly George Duke sounding song. A fantastic track full of wonder. The War Fugue Interlude - Check out that bassline! This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. The song Give Me Your Love ending is my favorite… so catchy! Stand is one of these floating songs. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Music of Celebrate is gentle, never overbearing. After about the third Fly Away listen through, I began to believe this song is George Duke’s essence.
