Life In The Jungle carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. I am not a real Blues music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Life In The Jungle’ really is amazing. On the Holland charts, superstar John Mayall’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Life In The Jungle is the best essence of John Mayall.
Fascinating Lover pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. The Last Time - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. The opening track One Life To Live is very much like you would expect from other albums. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Don’t judge All Your Love on the first listening. Help Me is a excellent, simple song by John Mayall at the top of his game. In Ridin’ On The L&M it becomes nowhere more obvious that John Mayall has yet to define own style.
