This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by John Mayall. It has been eleven years John Mayall’ last studio CD, “A Sence Of Place” which won Array Academy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. On the Portugal charts, superstar John Mayall’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This is what good Blues should be.
Sugarcane is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Black Cat Moan is beautiful, yet underrated track. I An’t Complain is a very catchy tune. Let’s Work Together is probably the most interesting track on A Sence Of Place. Jacksboro Highway gives good insight into the truths. Music in Sensitive Kind is marvelous as in all tracks of A Sence Of Place. Without Her is astounding song though, very addictive. Put Send Me Down To into car stereo for your highway driving Music and lyrics of Congo Square creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. John Mayall sings his heart out in I Want To Go.
