Blues from Laurel Canyon carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This album has some very good songs like Vacation and Walking On Sunset. When you buy a John Mayall album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Great Blues right here!
The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. It’s such an underrated song. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Somebody’s Acting Like A Child is a good listen every once in a while. A great put together song. Miss James is excellent and different song. First Time Alone is the albums biggest surprise. Strong, powerful vocals of John Mayall in Long Gone Midnight are very impressive. Blues from Laurel Canyon couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Fly Tomorrow.
