Lead single “Saturation Point” and “Dragon Mistress” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. ‘Dragon’s Kiss’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Marty Friedman was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Marty Friedman and Dragon’s Kiss together. Unappreciated gift to Rock: Instrumental
After few listenings I started to like Dragon Mistress more and more. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. No Marty Friedman song has come close to capturing my attention as Namida (Tears) did. Anvils is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. In Forbidden City the music gets its power. Thunder March is nothing short of a modern masterpiece.
