Lead single “Burned Beyond Recognition” and “What Am I Doing Here” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This is one of the best Cd’s Rollins Band has dropped to date. On the Jamaica charts, superstar Rollins Band’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Rollins Band ever.
What Am I Doing Here - This is a very lively song. 1,000 Times Blind is Rollins Band’s best work in years. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Wreck-Age is perfect. Gun In My Mouth Blues is the funkiest number on the album. You Look At You is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. If You’re Alive is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Turned Out is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Do It (Session Outtake) is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Put Move Right In (Session Outtake) into car stereo for your highway driving Next Time (Session Outtake) (3:21) a good melody.
