It’s natural for Zion Train to take a stab at ‘Seed’ considering her long-professed love for Madonna. I am not a real Reggae music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Grow together’ really is amazing. On Grow together album, Zion Train have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This album is awesome.
Still going through Grow together and coming to appreciate Space more and more with every listen. La Madrugada is such a amazing and optimistic song that things can get just better. Procession is nothing but pure genius. Rise is the more seemingly obscure song on Grow together that bear up best to repeated listening. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Stand Up And Fight is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Harvest is probably the highlight of the album. Tubby’s Garden - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Music of Peace is gentle, never overbearing. Roots Part I is simple, dignified and effective, Zion Train refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more.
