There is so much to love about Liquid Tension Experiment, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This disc has all of the essential Liquid Tension Experiment classics. ‘Liquid Tension Experiment’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Liquid Tension Experiment.
Osmosis - My least favorite song on this album. Liquid Tension Experiment breathes new life into the music in Kindred Spirits. The opening track The Stretch is very much like you would expect from other albums. Freedom Of Speech - A nice song. Chris and Kevin’s Excellent Adventure is the most memorable and amazing. State Of Grace is the more seemingly obscure song on Liquid Tension Experiment that bear up best to repeated listening. Universal Mind is the funkiest number on the album. 3 Minute Warning Pt. I is a fine track on any terms. 3 Minute Warning Pt. II is one of my favorite songs by Liquid Tension Experiment. I loved 3 Minute Warning Pt. III the first time I heard it. 3 Minute Warning Pt. IV is probably one of Liquid Tension Experiment’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. 3 Minute Warning Pt. V is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song.
