After debuting at No. 1 last week, Tri Yann’s album Inventaire Vol. 2 falls to No. 2 with 654,000, a sales slide of 62%. Since completing 1995’s ‘Le Renard’, Tri Yann fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Tri Yann was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Tri Yann and Inventaire Vol. 2 together. I wish that “Inventaire Vol. 2″ album was instrumental.
This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Le Tourdion Des Manants presents the gorgeous mix of instruments on Inventaire Vol. 2. Still going through Inventaire Vol. 2 and coming to appreciate Kimiad Eur Paour Kaez Den Oblijet Da Guitad E Vro more and more with every listen. An Tourter is simply marvelous. If you are a Tri Yann fan, you will love La Ville De La Rochelle. Les Cheveaux Du Mene-Bre is a bit different from Tri Yann stereotypical stuff. Complainte De Yuna Madalen - A strong beat. Suite Ecossaise is possibly the best song Tri Yann has come up. Complainte Gallaise is the first taste of the new album. Quand La Bergere is excellent and different song. The sound of Hanter-Dro Macabre is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Kiss The Children For Me Mary is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Mrs Mac Dermott is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Le Mariage Insolite De Marie La Bretonne is a striking and quite long song. Bergere Allons Doux is one of my favorite songs by Tri Yann. Maluron Lurette makes a person feel exquisite. Les Filles Des Forges (Pile-Menu) - Check out that bassline! Overall a nice softer song.
