Dots and Loops is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Stereolab was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Stereolab and Dots and Loops together. This is the first studio album from Stereolab since bad diagnosis in 1997. Stereolab “Dots and Loops” is an amazing album.
A great put together song. Stereolab is one of artists that allow his songs like The Flower Called Nowhere to stand on their own and be heard. Diagonals is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Prisoner Of Mars is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Rainbo Conversation is simple, dignified and effective, Stereolab refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Refractions In The Plastic Pulse is the funkiest number on the album. Parsec is probably one of Stereolab’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Contronatura - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody.
