After seeing Cry Me A River, I had to have a good Julie London cd. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Julie London ever.
Julie London emotions are reflected through In The Middle Of A Kiss. You’d Be So Nice To Come Home To - This one is lively and fun. No Moon At All is absolutely incredible. June In January is the albums biggest surprise. ‘Round Midnight which is my favorite is a truly Julie London sounding song. In The Still Of The Night is the albums biggest surprise. I like the idea behind My Heart Belongs To Daddy. Invitation To The Blues - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Julie London. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Go Slow is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. The Thrill Is Gone is beautiful, yet underrated track. Listening to I Surrender, Dear you can hear that Julie London has still amazing chemistry with band members. I can’t stop humming along Two Sleepy People. A Cottage For Sale is astounding. Daddy is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Gone With The Wind motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. This track is clearly meant to showcase Julie London’s vocal abilities.
