ten years ago, B.B.King briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Darling You Know I Love You”. I am not a real R&B: Soul music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Ain’T Nobody Home’ really is amazing. This is the first studio album from B.B.King since bad diagnosis in 1991. After about the third Darling You Know I Love You listen through, I began to believe this song is B.B.King’s essence. Paying The Cost To Be The Boss is the marvelous blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Nightlife/Please Send Me Someone To Love can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what B.B.King is all about. Please Love Me is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Sweet Little Angel (Live) is my favorite song on Ain’T Nobody Home. Get Ain’T Nobody Home and turn on Don’t Answer The Door if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Simple and heartfelt closing track Into The Night closes Ain’T Nobody Home on a high note. Why I Sing The Blues is just simply stunning. B.B.King sings Caldonia in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Rock Me Baby (Live) is simple, dignified and effective, B.B.King refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Sweet Sixteen (Live) makes a person feel excellent. Inflation Blues is beautiful, yet underrated track. The Thrill Is Gone is the albums biggest surprise. Ain’t Nobody Home is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Everyday I Have The Blues (Live) is amazing and different song.
