For older fans Live in Philadelphia will put a massive smile accross your face. Since Atari Teenage Riot last CD (Live in Philadelphia) on Blue Note Records back in 1999, I have felt a massive void in my life. fourteen years ago, Atari Teenage Riot briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Destroy 2000 Years of Culture”. This is one of Atari Teenage Riot best albums
Destroy 2000 Years of Culture still maintains something of a specific flourish. Atari Teenage Riot sings his heart out in Deutschland Has Gotta Die!. Once Get Up While You Can gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Although Into the Death is very melodic it is far from sad. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Midijunkies. The sound in Not Your Business is really warm and Atari Teenage Riot’s signature voice is still very much present. Sick to Death is another strong production from Atari Teenage Riot. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Speed because the melody in the chorus is so good.
