This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by The Mission Uk. Since The Mission Uk last CD (Children) on Savoy Records back in 1988, I have felt a massive void in my life. Self-described as Rock: Pop-Rock with lots of words, The Mission Uk comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Beyond The Pale and A Wing and A Prayer is really good.
The song A Wing and A Prayer ending is my favorite… so catchy! I like Fabienne because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Heaven On Earth stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. The Mission Uk sings his heart out in Tower Of Strength. Kingdom Come - This is a very lively song. Breathe - A classic The Mission Uk track. Child’s Play - This one makes me want to not only sing along. I find myself hearing bits of Shamera Kye here and there throughout my waking hours. Black Mountain Mist is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Dream On is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Heat (5:14) a good melody. In Hymn (For America) the music gets its power.
