It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. The Philosopher is a gorgeous song and it grows on you. Larry Carlton offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. On Solid Ground is one of my favorite songs by Larry Carlton. The Waffer is Larry Carlton’s best work in years. Bubble Shuffle is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Chapter II from the beginning to the end. Honey Samba is simple, dignified and effective, Larry Carlton refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Larry Carlton is one of artists that allow his songs like Sea Space to stand on their own and be heard.
