B.B.King’s debut, ‘Let the Good Times Roll: The Music of Louis Jordan’, does not fit easily into one genre. There were many famous songs of B.B.King available. This -song debut EP shows the promise that B.B.King has. Let the Good Times Roll: The Music of Louis Jordan is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Is You Is Or Is You Ain’t My Baby? is my favorite song on Let the Good Times Roll: The Music of Louis Jordan. Beware, Brother, Beware - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. I was truly moved when I heard Somebody Done Changed The Lock On My Door. Ain’t That Just Like A Woman is outstanding work of B.B.King. Choo Choo Ch’Boogie is one of the more up-tempo songs on Let the Good Times Roll: The Music of Louis Jordan. Buzz Me is one of the coolest songs B.B.King has ever recorded. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Jack, You’re Dead! - arguably the best track on Let the Good Times Roll: The Music of Louis Jordan album. B.B.King sings Knock Me A Kiss in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Let The Good Times Roll is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Caldonia. Once you hear It’s A Great, Great Pleasure, you will listen to it over and over. Rusty Dusty Blues (Mama Mama Blues) is such a astounding and optimistic song that things can get just better. Sure Had A Wonderful Time Last Night is the first taste of the new album. Saturday Night Fish Fry is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. I have all of B.B.King’s tracks and Nobody Knows You When You’re Down And Out is probably the most his introspective effort.
