No Borders isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. After seeing The First Four Years, I had to have a good Keiko Matsui cd. It has been eight years Keiko Matsui’ last studio CD, “No Borders” which won Array Academy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
Don’t judge Light In The Rain on the first listening. Album opener The White Corner is a bright, upbeat ditty. Mover - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. The Wind and The Wolf can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Keiko Matsui is all about. In The Mist make listening to Keiko Matsui like being in some sort of time warp. Get No Borders and turn on Three Silhouettes if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Kappa (Water Elf) - A catchy, upbeat tune. Souvenir is Keiko Matsui’s best work in years. This song stands out greatly from the others.
