Catalyst: Liquid (CD1) isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. There is no doubt that John B has talent. This disc has all of the essential John B classics. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about John B ever.
We Like The Music is the albums biggest surprise. Live Dangerously has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets John B’s strong vocals come to the fore. Salsa! (Radio Edit) - My least favorite song on this album. In Adrift (Downtempo Mix) full palet of sound is used by John B to accentuate the presentation. Viva (Remix) - I like this one. Imagine is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Opening track Fluid Mosaic shows the best of John B. Get Catalyst: Liquid (CD1) and turn on Progress if you are going to sip your wine late at night. John B sings Vanishing Point in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Key West is one of the coolest songs John B has ever recorded.
