After seeing Sephiroth, I had to have a good Raison D’etre cd. Within The Depths Of Silence.. is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Self-described as Industrial with lots of words, Raison D’etre comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Within The Depths Of Silence.. is the best essence of Raison D’etre.
Ascent Of The Blessed is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. In Abscence Of Subsecuent… is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Within The Depths Of Silence.. have ended. Fall Of The Damned - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Euphrosyne (3:59) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. The sound of Inner Depths Of Sadness is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Od Dying Relics - Raison D’etre first major hit. Dream’s Essence - A catchy, upbeat tune.
