Since Hooverphonic last CD (A New Stereophonic Sound Spectacular) on Virgin Records back in 1996, I have felt a massive void in my life. When you buy a Hooverphonic album, you know exactly what you’re getting! There is so much to love about Hooverphonic, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This is what good Trip-Hop should be.
In 2Wicky the music gets its power. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Plus Profond - A catchy, upbeat tune. Barabas - a classic song. The sound in Cinderella is really warm and Hooverphonic’s signature voice is still very much present. Nr 9 is a great opener for A New Stereophonic Sound Spectacular. Music in Sarangi is exquisite as in all tracks of A New Stereophonic Sound Spectacular. Someone is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Revolver one is one of the better boring ones. Song Innervoice is actually a funny song.
