Shinin On is an amazing album, racked with beauty.There were many famous songs of Shakatak available. It has been fourteen years Shakatak’ last studio CD, “Shinin On” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This album is awesome.
After you’ve listened to Sleepin’ Alone, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. When I listen to Street Level in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. From the moment you listen to Haze you’re hooked. Walk In The Night can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Shakatak is all about. Fly By Night as a highlight of Shinin On contains a ton of perfect melodies. I believe Chase The Sun is one of the most amazing, heartfelt songs ever written. Such hits like Ocean Sway will leave you hooked. A great put together song. Time Stretch defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Paradise Island make listening to Shakatak like being in some sort of time warp. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit.
