Since completing 1994’s ‘Listen To Your Heart’, Steve Perry fulfilled their contract with Mute Records and where under no obligation to release another album. After seeing Listen To Your Heart, I had to have a good Steve Perry cd. IF YOU LIKE ALL Steve Perry’S SONG GO FOR IT! Live Milwaukee 1994 (CD 2) is not something you should pass up.
The sound of I’ll Be Alright Withou You is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Dixie Highway is the albums biggest surprise. Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin’ is the song that really did it for me. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Anyway You Want It. Separate Ways (5:11) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. There is exquisite mix of music in Don’t Stop Believin’. One listen to the sheer beauty of Faithfully was all I needed.
