The Pogues Pogue Mahaone mp3

The Pogues Pogue Mahaone imageAfter seeing How Come, I had to have a good The Pogues cd. Thom Yorke has compared writing for The Pogues’s new album to that on ‘Pogue Mahaone’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. The Pogues had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Such great and happy songs.

I listened to the opening track Living In A World Without Her and liked it a lot. When The Ship Comes In is such a marvelous and optimistic song that things can get just better. The first time I listened to Anniversary I was struck by its perfect sound. Amadie was the first single release from the album Pogue Mahaone. Love You ‘Till The End is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Bright Lights is a astounding song and it grows on you. Oretown is a fine track on any terms. Pont Mirabeau is perfect. The song feels complete. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Four O’Clock In The Morning. Where That Love’s Been Gone can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what The Pogues is all about. First time I heard The Sun And The Moon was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.
