When you buy a Aphrodite’s Child album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This is the first studio album from Aphrodite’s Child since bad diagnosis in 1996. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Aphrodite’s Child energies, virtually a rebirth. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Annabella
Once you hear Annabella, you will listen to it over and over. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Aphrodite’s Child. Funky Mary - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. When listening to Spring, summer, winter and fal, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. In Air the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Music of Break is gentle, never overbearing. Babylon one of the best in my collection. Some of the arrangements found on The Complete Collection (CD2) are surprisingly edgy. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. The seventh seal is worth the money. Once Aegian sea gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Music in Lament is exquisite as in all tracks of The Complete Collection (CD2). In The marching beast the music gets its power. Hic et nunc is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. All the seats were occupied - A strong beat.
