It has been three years dEUS’ last studio CD, “In A Bar Under The Sea” which won Array Emmy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Mila Sparrow has compared writing for dEUS’s new album to that on ‘In A Bar Under The Sea’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. There is no doubt that dEUS has talent. I wish that “In A Bar Under The Sea” album was instrumental.
Fell Off The Floor Man (5:14) - awsome. When listening to Opening Night, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Theme From Turnpike (5:46) a good melody. Little Arithmetics stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Gimme The Heat - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Within the first few notes of A Shocking Lack Thereof it’s perfectly clear that dEUS is living this song. Get In A Bar Under The Sea and turn on Supermarketsong if you are going to sip your wine late at night. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of dEUS. Guilty Pleasures is one of the coolest songs dEUS has ever recorded. Nine Threads (3:35) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Disappointed In The Sun - Check out that bassline! For The Roses has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets dEUS’s strong vocals come to the fore. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin.
