‘Burial’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Self-described as Experimental with lots of words, Death In June comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Burial carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Burial touched my soul like nothing else.
It took me a little time but I ended up loving Fields. After about the third Nirvana listen through, I began to believe this song is Death In June’s essence. Sons Of Europe is the first taste of the new album. Black Radio is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Till The Living Flesh Is Burned is marvelous work of Death In June. It’s a great pleasure to listen to All Alone In Her Nirvana from the beginning to the end. Fields is beautiful, yet underrated track. Such hits like We Drive East will leave you hooked. Heaven Street is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations.
