It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Leila energies, virtually a rebirth. There is so much to love about Leila, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. John Digester has compared writing for Leila’s new album to that on ‘Leila 1 7”’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Such great and happy songs.
Track 2 is possibly the best song Leila has come up.
