It’s natural for Death In June to take a stab at ‘Blood Of Winter’ considering her long-professed love for Universal Soul. The World That Summer is an amazing album, racked with beauty.’The World That Summer’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. I Love The World That Summer from start to finish!
I like Hidden Among The Leaves because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Torture Bu Roses has a fun tempo. It’s such an underrated song. Love Murder defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Within the first few notes of Rule Again it’s perfectly clear that Death In June is living this song. Break The Black Ice is such a astounding and optimistic song that things can get just better. Rocking Horse Night is beautiful, yet underrated track. In Blood Victory Death In June is at his best. Death Of A Man is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through The World That Summer. Death In June allows each song to breathe and flourish. Death In June rocks harder than ever with Reprise #2. Death In June is hitting on all cylinders in Reprise #3.
