Leila’s debut, ‘Like Weather’, does not fit easily into one genre. Lead single “Something” and “Don’t Fall Asleep” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This fourteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Leila has. This is one of Leila best albums
Don’t Fall Asleep is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Underwaters, which shows, blatantly, how much Leila has evolved as a singer. Feeling is a excellent, simple song by Leila at the top of his game. Blue Grace - Leila first major hit. In Space, Love Leila spins a tale you want to hear to the end. I like the idea behind Know. Excellent vocals and musical performances. So low… Amen (6:16) a good melody. Misunderstood - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Leila. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Won’t You Be My Baby, Baby is astounding. Away is one of the more up-tempo songs on Like Weather.
