Stardog Champion is a cool sing-along. Holy Roller still maintains something of a specific flourish. Nice and different song. Come Bite The Apple (5:27) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Stargazer - I just love it. I was truly moved when I heard Heartshine. Opening track Captain Hi-Top shows the best of Mother Love Bone. Man Of Golden Words - I like this one. First time I heard Capricorn Sister was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Gentle Groove is the more seemingly obscure song on Mother Love Bone that bear up best to repeated listening. Mr. Danny Boy has a fun tempo. Crown Of Thorns is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Thru Fadeaway presents the astounding mix of instruments on Mother Love Bone. Mindshaker Meltdown is a very catchy tune. Half Ass Monkey Boy is a fine track on any terms. Chloe Dancer/Crown Of Thorns is the album’s biggest hit, I think.
