When you buy a Quicksand album, you know exactly what you’re getting! There is no doubt that Quicksand has talent. This thirteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Quicksand has. This album is a scorcher!
I find myself hearing bits of Delusional here and there throughout my waking hours. First time I heard Divorce was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.So much energy, so exciting a sound.Excellent vocals and musical performances. Thorn In My Side is the album’s biggest hit, I think. You have to get essence of the Landmine Spring’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Such hits like Blister will leave you hooked. Brown Gargantuan is the albums biggest surprise. One listen to the sheer beauty of East 3rd St. was all I needed. Supergenius is probably the most interesting track on Manic Compression. It Would Be Cooler If You Did is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations.
