There is no doubt that Kataklysm has talent. ‘Temple Of Knowledge (Kataklysm Part III)’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. After seeing The Unholy Signature (Segment I), I had to have a good Kataklysm cd. This is what good Metal: Death,Black should be.
Beckoning Of The Xul (Segment II) is a perfect, simple song by Kataklysm at the top of his game. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Fathers From The Suns (Act I) is the song that really did it for me. Enhanced By The Lore (Act II) (3:41) - awsome. I have all of Kataklysm’s tracks and In Parallel Horizons (Act III) is probably the most his introspective effort. The Awakener (Epoch I) - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Maelstrom 2010 (Epoch II) is a perfect song and it grows on you. Best song on the album, love it. The sound in L’Odyssee… (Bonus Track) is really warm and Kataklysm’s signature voice is still very much present.
