After debuting at No. 1 last week, Body Count’s album Born Dead falls to No. 2 with 617,000, a sales slide of 95%. This album has some very good songs like Body MF Count and Masters Of Revenge. After seeing Body MF Count, I had to have a good Body Count cd. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Body Count ever.
Some of the arrangements found on Born Dead are surprisingly edgy. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Born Dead. Drive By the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Last Breath is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Surviving The Game is one of the best records ever. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Once you hear Street Lobotomy, you will listen to it over and over. The sound in Born Dead is really warm and Body Count’s signature voice is still very much present.
