This disc has all of the essential Astor Piazzolla classics. Astor Piazzolla was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Astor Piazzolla and Concierto de Nacar together. This is one of the best Cd’s Astor Piazzolla has dropped to date. This is my first Astor Piazzolla Album and i must say i am blown away.
One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Vardarito because the melody in the chorus is so good. In Fuga y Misterio you won’t find any flashy solos. Verano Porteno is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Concerto de Nacar para nueve Tanguistas is my favorite song on Concierto de Nacar. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Adios Nonino is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy.
