This is the first studio album from Leningrad Cowboys since bad diagnosis in 1994. Since Leningrad Cowboys last CD (Happy Together) on Virgin Records back in 1994, I have felt a massive void in my life. Leningrad Cowboys had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Exciting stuff.
It’s such an underrated song. Gimme All Your Lovin’ - I like this one. Happy Together has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Leningrad Cowboys’s strong vocals come to the fore. This track is clearly meant to showcase Leningrad Cowboys’s vocal abilities. A great put together song. Music of Just A Gigolo (I Ain’t Got Nobody) is gentle, never overbearing. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. The first time I listened to Yellow Submarine I was struck by its amazing sound. Sweet Home Alabama is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Delilah - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Stairway To Heaven to me is the best you can get from Leningrad Cowboys.
