Since completing 1996’s ‘Where’s The Moon’, Leningrad Cowboys fulfilled their contract with Virgin Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Go Space is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Leningrad Cowboys was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Leningrad Cowboys and Go Space together. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Space Tractor is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Universal Fields on Go Space is solid and easy to listen to. Leningrad Cowboys is one of artists that allow his songs like Jupiter Calling to stand on their own and be heard. Musically Galina is superior to other tracks in Go Space. The song feels complete. Ulan Bator Girls is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Brave New World is the more seemingly obscure song on Go Space that bear up best to repeated listening. NaDJa is the astounding blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. I can’t stop playing Matushka. Zastarovje has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. L.A. Doga Beach - A catchy, upbeat tune. In Little Green Men you won’t find any flashy solos.
